STUD CRAY CRAY
So I bought some black English conical spikes from Studs and Punks a few months back, and decided to buy the silver ones, to re-work some of my other clothes. I put 3 studs on either side of the collar on one of my chiffon shirts. I have 2 exactly the same, because I thought I lost one but then found it the next day! So i thought I'd put studs on of and leave the other bare so I'd have the option of to stud or not to stud for my outfit choices.
I bought the acid washed denim dress from Primark about 2 years ago, and it was my "goal" dress. I always buy clothes that don't fit in order for me to be motivated into losing some weight and being able to fit in them, but what normally ends up happening, is that I forget that I have bought them, and they sit in the wardrobe for a couple of years until i decide that I don't even want to wear it ever, so money gets wasted. This time, I thought that I'd rework it with some studs going along the front of the shoulder straps, and sell it on eBay. If a dress like this was in topshop, I reckon that it would sell for like £40, or something like that, but I'm only selling it for the buy it now price of £19.99, because I'm a nice person, or am just stupid ha!
The Levi shorts, I got them from a charity shop as jeans, and cut them into shorts and put studs all along the top back panel. I am in love with them but they are just far too big for me :( I'm going to buy another pair of black levi's that actually fit and stud them the same.

Recent Jewellery Purchases
I didn't get round to putting this post up last night like I said I would because I spent the majority of my evening/night having a domestic over the phone with my girlfriend be we pretty much ended up solving all of our problems so I'm glad that it happened. So here are my most recent jewellery buys, and 1 is from topshop, 1 from a charity shop, and the last 2 are from miss selfridge in the sale.
I have wanted these skull earrings for some time now but just didn't really want to spend £6.50 on a pair of earrings that only look good as a pair, and because of my tunnel (which I have taken out now), I would only be able to wear one, but when i saw that they were half price, I sort of had to buy them. My tunnel has closed up quite a bit and I only took it out roughly 2 weeks ago. It was only stretched to 10mm so of course it would close fast. These skull earrings are quite heavy so I don't want to wear them yet cause they'll just make my ear sag and look pat butcher-esque.
For about 3 years now (ever since I did my art GCSE exam where I decided to create a shell the size of a child for my final piece), I have had a real love for scallop shells. I am planning on getting a tattoo of one either on one of my fingers or on my arm. So, whenever I see a piece of jewellery that has any type of scallop shell imagery on it, I almost feel compelled to buy it. So I was in a charity shop with my girlfriend, and we were looking at all of the ornament and jewellery cabinets, and then i saw these gorgeous earrings! I'm not planning on wearing them with that many shells still attached to the earring, because that would look slightly ridiculous, I mean I know I love them, but I don't want to look OTT, so I'm planning on making a necklace with the excess shells that I remove.
I've been wanting a hand harness for a while now, but just haven't been prepared to spend £10 on a flimsy chain that I don't even know that I'll even wear a lot, so I saw this in the sale in miss selfridges, for wait, £1!! I literally could not believe it. There was no doubt about whether or not I was going to buy it. I have yet to wear it because it clashes with the rest of my gold jewellery, but on a night out I will definitely wear it as the statement piece of my hand/wrist jewellery.
This was actually a head harness thing, but I thought that it would look lovely as a necklace and so cut off the middle chain which would have gone down the center of your head. I also took 2 of the crystal gems out of the middle link as I just thought it made it look a bit tacky. It doesn't look as nice close up apparently haha, but in r/l it does look really nice.

Wow haven't blogged in an AGE
For anyone who actually reads this pointless blog, the reason why I haven't posed anything in ages is that I've been so busy, (I always hate when people say that "oh sorry i haven't blogged I've been really busy", it takes like 20 mins to post just a text blog so really there's no excuse, but that's all I've got so..) and I like to use Firefox as my main browser, so whenever I sign into youtube, it signs me out of blogger cause google have decided to take over the world and demand that you only use one gmail account per browser. Really really annoying, so I can just never be bothered to continually swap between safari and firefox to use blogger and youtube. ANYWAY, in other news, I have a girlfriend now, so yeh, she takes up a lot of me time <3
I also went through a phase of just not buying any significant items of clothing, and would only buy random pieces of jewellery, or just not a lot really, no idea why, just the way it went, and so there was really nothing for me to blog about. I'm thinking of changing this blog up a bit though, maybe more opinon based as a posed to just fashion. More, hmmm about topics, things I'm interested in, just an online account of my thoughts etc, as a posed to just OH HEY I BOUGHT THIS TOP ITS NICE.. idk, I prefer to read blogs on that, than make my own one. So yeh, this post is basically to say that I'm going to start blogging a whole lot more, 3 times a week MINIMUM, wow, so hard.. I will try though.
I'm going to post something shortly about jewellery though, because I've been buying LOADS at the moment, and well yeh, I'll move on to another topic, let's say tomorrow?

I'm In Love With A Priest
I'm an eBay keeno so of course heard about The Ragged Priest's shop on eBay and always lusted after their clothes. I felt that their prices were reasonable, seeing as they've reworked a lot of vintage items, but I just never bought anything from there. I actually have no idea why. I think maybe though that I like to see what the clothes items that I will be buying are like in person, so I can fee the fabric and then I'll know what the quality of all the items will be. I found out that they had a concession in the Topshop on Oxford street and so knew that I would have to make a trip their at some point. I went the other day with some friends as I always forgot to check out the concessions when I go to that Topshop, as the shop is like an adventure and I always usually stay by the jewellery and spend all of my money there.
So I finally went to the concession section and literally could not believe what I was seeing. There were 3 rails filled with clothes that I now know that when I get paid I will be owning. I ended up buying only one thing as I'm meant to be saving money to pay my holiday deposit but I couldn't let it pass me by.
This gorgeous simple sleeveless tee was £25 but with my friends student discount it ended up being £22.50 which I think is crazy cheap, being that this tee is perfect. I'm planning to wear it with either leather fronted trousers, or leather/PU leggings and my Topshop Lion Wedges. That's of course for a more 'party' look.
I went on their website last night however and I saw that the dress that I had been wanting for a while now, was still on sale! I couldn't not buy it. It was originally £45 reduced by half! (£22.50) There was no way that I could leave it as I know that I would regret it. I've been selling some items on eBay so I'm pretty sure that I'll be able to get the money back.
It's just such a stunning dress. The spikes on the shoulder straps are what sells it for me. I cannot wait to wear it on a night out! The only problem that I see with it, is that it only came in one size, 8-10, and I would normally buy a size 12 just because I don't like things to cling to me. But the tee that I bought i supposed to be one size as well a size, 8-10-12, but it's more of a 14 I would say, so I'm just hoping that it's a bit bigger. It does looks a bit 'baggy' on the model so I'm hopeful.
Last night I also bought Sleigh Bells tickets for me and a friend. They were £12 each and I was so gutted that i didn't buy the London show tickets in time so I'm having to go to Brighton just for the night to see them, because that was the closest date to where we live. I'm so excited cause I've loved Sleigh Bells for a while now. If you haven't listened to them before, or don't even know who they are, well, what's wrong with you!! firstly, aha, but yes definitely give them a listen. Their new album comes out on the 21st of this month I think. I'd suggest listening to 'Rill Rill', 'Run The Heart', and 'Comeback Kid'. My favourites are 'Crown On The Ground', 'Born To Lose' and 'Rachel'.

New Hair Idea
So I recently re-ombré'd my hair so the ends are now a sort of ash medium brown town with the tops of my hair just a dark brown colour. I saved a picture a couple of months ago of the hair that NEEDED in my life, but I was never brace enough to go as light as it was, but it's 2012, not a whole new me, just the 'me' I've always wanted to be, so before I go to have my weave put back in, i'm going to dye it all lighter and dye my own hair lighter also. The picture below is what I hope to the achieve, except the center-part styling, the rest is exactly what I want. I love ash hair tones and this is exactly what I want to create on my own head! I'm overly excited to do this as his as I've been needing a change and also this isn't something drastic, it will be a very nice change!! I've been going through that phase of hating everything in your wardrobe as well, so I at least want to be loving my hair and the rest will follow through. Hopefully.

Vegetarian 2012
So In 2011 I decided that I was going to make some new years resolutions, like I do every year, like most people do, but nobody ever usually keeps them past March. This year however I am determined to take them seriously. I decided to become a vegetarian. The thought of eating animals muscles and flesh had just got too much for me, and to be honest I'm glad that I finally have become one. I'm on a diet as well and I've been doing 50 sit ups a day and last night decided to make that 100 in the night and 100 in the morning, so 200 a day. Good God, that might decrease over a couple of weeks aha, but I want/need to have a 'bikini body' by July, and I know that that is AGES away, 6 months, but I want to just be comfortable in my body, and wear clothes that I want to wear. There's no point just trying to accept your body, when you aren't actually happy and never will be. So making a change really isn't actually that hard to be honest. Once you get started, it's not hard, just think of your goal and then you'll get there. I think I've lost weight already, cause I have completely cut meat and fish from my diet, which I wouldn't recommend cause I did feel really sick for the first week, but now I do still feel a bit sick, but I think my body is just lacking protein.
This leads me to the picture above. My mum's boyfriend, bless him, has been like really supportive if my diet changes aha, and he bought me a few Quorn meals! But I didn't realise it was FUNGUS ahaha, now I know that mushrooms are fungus or whatever, and I love mushrooms, but still aha I just thought it was funny that they say 'Part of the Fungi Family'
Actually now, it's not that funny or shocking is it ahahah, wow, awkward..
